Begin your adventure by crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the dramatic Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2,260m). Visit Telouet Kasbah and the UNESCO-listed village of Aït Ben Haddou, a film set for many Hollywood movies. Continue to Ouarzazate for your overnight stay.
After breakfast, visit the famous Amridil Kasbah in Skoura before passing through the Valley of the Roses and Kelaat M’Gouna. Stop in Tinghir and explore the breathtaking Todra Gorges. Enjoy lunch by the canyon and walk along the cliffs before settling in at your hotel for the night.
Travel through the desert towns of Tinjdad and Erfoud, reaching Merzouga—the gateway to the Sahara. Mount your camel and ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes to your desert camp. Enjoy a Berber dinner, music around the campfire, and a night under the stars in a nomadic-style tent.
Wake up to a spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast and a shower, head to the village of Khamlia to enjoy live Gnawa music. Continue off-road across the dunes, stopping for tea with local nomads in Berber tents. Return to your hotel in Merzouga for a relaxed evening.
Depart Merzouga and drive through the scenic Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views. Pass through Midelt and the Cedar Forests near Azrou, where you might spot wild monkeys. Stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before arriving in Fes. End of tour.
